ABOUT NH3 SERVICES
NH₃ Services has been serving the energy and chemical industries with expertise in tank pump outs of ammonia tanks to gain entry for inspection or other issues for over 20 years. In that time we have developed various methods to collect and dispose of the residual ammonia vapors in the pressure vessel
Our first goal is to make the entire entry process safe. We use all rate equipment for ammonia service. Our technicians are highly experiences most having worked for over 15 years with us. We run ASME code calculations on your vessel before any work progress so we know the strength of the vessel when subjected to vacuum during the vapor removal process.
Our customers are a diverse group, ranging from massive coal fired power plants with ammonia tanks as large as 90,000 gallons, to fertilizer plants using ammonia to make products, to small natural gas Peaker plants and larger HRSG plants with 10,000-30,000 gallon tanks
